WealthMat Silverstein is a co-founder of X1 Wealth, where he leads product and engineering. X1 is building an AI family office that adapts to each household, so nobody has to keep the whole financial picture in their head.
He spent years at Wealth Factory working with entrepreneur households, which is where the problem got specific. People paid for good strategies and then stalled partway through putting them in place. Every professional they hired held one piece of the picture and nobody held all of it. Nobody was doing anything wrong; there was just no single place where the whole picture lived.
Minutes records and transcribes meetings, calls, and voice memos on the device itself, then writes them out as markdown files you own. It ships an MCP server, so Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and any other MCP client can query months of past conversations. It has passed 1,400 stars on GitHub.
PDF Tools fills, signs, merges, splits, and extracts PDFs from Claude Desktop and other MCP hosts. It shipped in the first batch of Claude Desktop extensions, the day Anthropic launched the format in June 2025. Until then Claude Desktop could read a PDF but do nothing to one. It is maintained under the Open Document Alliance.
X1 applies the same idea to financial documents. An operating agreement, a trust, a K-1, a declarations page: reading those correctly and filing them under the right entity is most of the job.
