X1 for bank and investment accounts

Every account, filed under who owns it.

Connect your bank accounts through Plaid, with investment and loan details where your institution shares them. File each account under the person, business, or trust it belongs to, so your household record shows which entity holds what.

Connecting accounts is free. Filing them under a person, business, or trust is part of paid membership. See pricing. Already have an account? Add an institution.

How connecting accounts works.

Access is view-only. X1 sees the accounts you connect and can't move money.

  1. 01

    Connect an institution

Choose your bank in Plaid and sign in there. X1 never sees your login, and the access it gets is view-only.

  2. 02

    X1 brings in the accounts

X1 brings in the accounts you connect: checking and savings, plus investment holdings and loan details where your institution shares them through Plaid.

  3. 03

File each account where it belongs

File each account under the person, business, or trust it belongs to. Your ledger groups it there, so the operating account sits with the LLC and the brokerage account sits with the trust.

  4. 04

    Stay current

Plaid tells X1 when an institution has new activity, and X1 updates on its own, with a regular check in case a notice is missed.

What X1 can do with your accounts.

X1 can

  • View the accounts you connect, with holdings and loan details where your institution shares them
  • Keep them up to date as your institutions report changes

X1 can't

  • Move money, make payments, or place trades
  • See your bank login
  • Keep access after you disconnect an institution

X1 keeps your accounts on your private household record. Read how X1 protects your information and who can see it on the security page.

Your ledger lists each account under the person, business, or trust you file it under. Filing accounts this way is part of paid membership; connecting them is free.
