X1 sees only the folders you share with it, and nothing is filed under your household until you confirm it.

Share a folder with X1
In Google Drive, share the folder you want X1 to read with drive@x1wealth.com, from the Google account that uses your X1 email. You don't sign in to Google through X1.

Add it in your Vault
In your Vault, open Sources, choose Add a folder, and paste the folder's link. X1 reads the files directly inside that folder and nothing else in your Drive.

Confirm what X1 found
X1 names each document, pulls out key facts for you to check, and suggests the business, trust, or property it belongs to. You confirm it or mark it Not mine.

Keep it current
X1 checks the folder every 15 minutes. A new file comes in, and a changed file comes in as a new version.

Questions about Google Drive and X1.
- Can X1 change or delete my Google Drive files?
- No. X1 reads Drive with read-only access, so it can't edit, move, or delete anything. Your files stay where they are, and X1 sees only the folders you share with it.
- Do I sign in to Google through X1?
- No. You share a folder with X1's address, drive@x1wealth.com, the same way you'd share it with a colleague.
- Which Google account should I share from?
- Share it from the Google account that uses the same email as your X1 account. X1 connects a folder only when it was shared by, or belongs to, someone on your X1 account, so nobody can add a folder that isn't theirs.
- What does X1 do with a document from Google Drive?
- X1 identifies what kind of document it is and pulls out facts such as names, dates, and amounts for you to review. It also suggests which business, trust, property, or account the document belongs to. Nothing is filed under your household until you confirm it.
- Do I need a membership?
- Yes. Adding Google Drive folders happens in your Vault, which is part of X1 membership. With a free account you can add one document from your computer and see what X1 finds in it.
- Which files can X1 read?
- PDF, Word, Excel, CSV, JPG, and PNG files, plus Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides, up to 50 MB each. X1 reads the files directly inside the folder you add, not its subfolders.
- How do I stop X1 reading a folder?
- Disconnect the folder in your Vault and X1 stops checking it for new files. To remove X1's access completely, stop sharing the folder with drive@x1wealth.com in Google Drive. Documents already in your Vault stay there until you delete them.
